For National Well-being day on Friday, we are offering an extra day of fruit for each of the offices, detox water on each of the floors, and we are holding a lunchtime session on the importance of physical activity and posture. We will also be sending out the headspace app, some healthy food recipes and walking routes to get employees active on their lunchbreaks on an ongoing basis.

Arup rolled out a wellness iniaitive in January 2017. The purpose of this initiative is to promote the overall health and well-being of our employees to create a wellness culture within Arup.
To kick start this initiative we provided a comprehensive health screening for all staff members in each of offices around Ireland. In conjunction with our health screening we held a wellness week in January. The focus of this week was to create awareness around healthy lifestyle choices both mentally and physically, through informational posters and lunchtime sessions on mindfulness and nutrition etc. Fresh fruit was also delivered during the course of the week to each of the office and the canteen in Dublin office offfered a more health focused menu.
The week was welcomed enthusiatically by staff. We now continue to provide fruit which is delivered to each of office two days per week. Also due to the level of interest in mindfulness we now have an 8 week programme in place in both our Dublin and Cork offices.
We are awaiting for the overall corporate report of our health screening. The results of which will enable us to tailor our on going wellness initiatives around the needs of our employees.
