Environmentally Responsible Use of Plastics

Ibec’s Better Lives Better Business campaign includes a commitment to promote environmental sustainability, including decarbonisation, waste prevention and resource efficiency. Irish businesses can contribute to these objectives through smarter use of plastics in their products and packaging. Ibec members can learn about best practice as envisaged in the EU Plastics Strategy and the Circular Economy Package. This event is an opportunity to learn from senior industry figures and policy experts about the progress that leading European firms are making.

Confirmed speakers include David Baker, Industry Affairs Director of leading global design and engineering group RPC and Leon de Graaf, Business Europe’s Advisory and Support Manager on Environment Policy. The panel session, moderated by Newstalk FM's Futureproof  presenter Jonathan McCrea, will include contributions from Ibec member firms.
