FDI Reformulation Report Launch
The food and beverage industry are dedicated to contributing to improved public health in Ireland. Reformulation is one of the most effective ways in which the food and beverage industries contribute to reducing obesity and improving public health.
FDI members have undertaken a significant data gathering initiative to collect nutrient and other data for the period 2005-2017. Comprehensive analysis of this evidence base has been carried out by Creme Global to assess the impact of reformulation and the availability of new products on the Irish diet.
Reformulation is an important way that the food industry is contributing to the delivery of ‘A Healthy Weight for Ireland’, the Government’s obesity policy and action plan. We hope you will join us in February when we will share the latest developments in product reformulation.
